Davis Hill and Renei Yarrow

Featured Master: Davis Hill
Davis Hill joined the North Idaho College faculty in January 2020. He is one of only two dedicated jazz lesson instructors at NIC and teaches Applied Jazz Piano, Jazz Piano for Non-Majors, and Applied Composition lessons. In addition to his appointment at NIC, Hill maintains a thriving private piano lesson studio, Peak Piano Studios, on Spokane’s south hill. Hill can be seen performing around town with swing/torchlight bands Ren E and the Rhythm Section and Renei & Davis. He holds Masters and Bachelors degrees in music from Eastern Washington University. A member of Music Teachers National Association, Hill is President-Elect of the North Idaho Music Teachers Association and Board member of the Spokane Music Teachers Association.

Renei Yarrow: Renei Yarrow is a vocalist, bandleader, and musical director in CdA. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance from College of Idaho. Renei taught private voice full-time from 2011-2015 and now continues to coach and direct.
